- Tempered glass is produced by heating annealed glass in a furnace to 620 degree centigrade.  Progressing from the furnace, the glass is rapidly cooled with jets of cold air, inducing compressive stresses to the surface while the center remains tensile. 
- It is 5 times stronger than annealed glass of the same thickness. 
- Stronger resistance to thermal breakage than annealed or heat strengthened glass 
- If breakage occurs the glass breaks up into small, cubical fragments, which are not threatening to humans.

Edge work
An arrissed edge is the simplest type of edgework and consists of removing the sharp edges from "as cut" glass. Flat ground edges give a flat profile with smooth arris. A polished edge can be specified for exposed edges, e.g. in furniture.

Holes
Toughened glass can be supplied with drilled holes (no matter straight or conical). The diameter of holes should not be less than the thickness of the glass, the distance between the edges of a hole to the glass edge should not be less than twice the glass thickness, the distance of the edge of a hole to the corner of the glass should not be less than six times the glass thickness.

Shapes
Except rectangle, Sun Global Glass also could do shape toughened glass, like round, Trapezoid,parallel, etc.
Other processing like acid etched, color painted, digital printing, pattern silkscreen, also could be done well.

Laminated glass
Laminated glass is made from two or three pieces of glass with a thin PVB or SGP film between each glass, processed with high temperature and high pressure. It can be made from
high-grade float glass, plated glass, tempered glass and curved glass. It would not crash into fragments when broken, since they are felt by the film. It would reduce the harm to people by the glass piece when the glass was broken, since it's not easily penetrated.
